Hi, I don't know if my kitten is a Turkish Angora!

Hi,

I was wondering if you could tell me if my kitten is a Turkish Angora. Her name is Nura and she has just turned 3 months. She was taken off the streets. She is deaf in both ears and has amber eyes. She is very very active and outspoken and likes to meow a lot. It is adorable. :)

Hi!

Not sure she is a Turkish Angora, but our TA savvy readers might give you an answer.

She looks adorable. Lovely big ears, and a pretty face. Such luck for her that you took her off the streets - imagine the dangers out there for a deaf kitten! Now she has a chance of a happy, long life with you. And it sounds like she has already become a family member.

You know our friends have a totally white cat who also has amber eyes, and she is also completely deaf. So the cat doesn't need t have blue eyes to be deaf, it seems.

Leena :)
