Cats of compassion
by: Leena

"JBC are considered to be the manifestation of Kannon, the Bodhisattva of Great Compassion"

I quite understand why - cats seem to know when someone is in need of a friend... I just finished reading this wonderful book about a cat in an Alzheimer care unit who always appeared on the spot when someone was about to make their transition (=die). He gently escorted them over to the other side by keeping them company until their last breath and then waited by them until they were taken away.

Leena :)
