Lil Cricket

We are Australia's largest breeder of this rare and beautiful little cat. We are registered breeders with the F.C.C.V (Feline Control Control of Victoria).

All kittens are desexed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and come with their Certified Pedigree, health certificate & 6 weeks free pet insurance.

We export all over the world and can obtain a quote for transport for you through our courier agent.

As their name suggests, the Singapura is a natural breed, created by Mother Nature, from the gene pool native to the Malaysian Square Mile Island of Singapore.

In 1988 the Singapura Breed was accepted for Champion status as a natural occurring breed. It is the worlds smallest pedigree cat, with the biggest personality. They are now known as Singapore’s National Treasure and used on their Tourist Information Brochures.

With an angelic face, captivating big bold eyes and a gentle deceptively delicate appearance, they have the ability to bewitch everyone within their reach.

They have enchanting personalities, always wanting to please and entertain you. Soft sweet little voices that question you and answer you back. They are truly pesky people pleasers.
This breed enjoys nothing better than to spend time you and the family, overseeing your daily tasks and of course getting themselves into adorable mischief.

You will find that most Singapura's enjoy being perched on your shoulders, so that they can keep an eye on everything around them and of course to keep track of you. Known in Singapore as the "Kuchinta" meaning “The Cat Of Love”.

They are also a very low maintenance breed. With a lovely sleek, close lying coat with minimal shedding which only requires your daily stroking, and a rub down with a chamois weekly to keep their coat looking just stunning.

The average weight of a male desexed Singapura Kitten is between 2.2 to 3 kg as an adult desexed. The female is less and so too are the entire (not desexed) cat.

This breed is not predisposed to any genetic or health problems. It is a hardy breed with having to survive as it once did in the alley's and drains in Singapore.

Males are generally more available than females, as this breed usually has small litters with more males being born than females.

Fiona got a hold of me...yay. I've got a lot of questions for her as I hope to adopt a Singapura from her. She was very nice and pleasant. With her love of the cats, I'm sure she's focusing on them. Love of a cat is the absolute best!!

can't get ahold of the Cattery NEW
by: BFK

I have tried for 3 days to email Fiona and I went on FB and sent instant messages. I have never heard back from them. Very interesting to see their FB page states about messages "very responsive to messages". Been waiting for hours now. Wonder the problem; also make me wary of adopting from this Cattery. And that is a shame for their Cattery looks amazing and loving

Lucky Day
by: Lorraine Doornebosch

It pleases me to see Mangalakatzs here on this fabulous website and I'd like to take this opportunity to say what a lucky day it was for me when I found Fiona and Bill and their wonderful Singas. I have two Mangala pets who have brought me so much joy, I honestly can't imagine life without them. But a lot of the pleasure is the ongoing care and friendship we all get from Fiona. She is an extraordinary lady, totally dedicated and honest with the most admirable ethics. Thank you Fiona for entrusting me with these gorgeous little companions.

Awwww... those eyes....
by: Leena

I just showed your Singapura photos to my husband and asked could he resist if such huuuuuge eyes would look at him asking for something. He commented that he absolutely could not LOL :D

I just checked the adorable video you had on your website, it showed the character of the Singapura so well. I especially loved the part where one of your Puras was watching the computer screen where was another Singapura :D

And how two Singapuras were sleeping in their Purrrsons lap, so content. Not exactly in a pile but almost - shows how well these cats get along with each other. Adorable!

Leena :)

Leena's Books

Tutankhamun

This book travels with the King Tut - Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh exhibition on his world tour of ten cities from March 2018 onwards

Tutankhamun: In My Own Hieroglyphs tells the story, for older children, of the life and afterlife of the famous young pharaoh in his own words. Tutankhamun tells us about the trouble he got into as a child in Akhenaten's palace in the new city of Akhetaten, and how he became a boy pharaoh. As we learn, his life changed a lot when he died as a teenager, and long years of boredom started in his tomb with only his pet monkey Fingers and his treasure for company. He did meet some of the Egyptian gods, of course, and had fun scaring off tomb robbers, but it was mostly rather dull. Then one day, some new and strange people, including a Mr. Howard Carter, arrived and began to take all the treasures out of his royal tomb. Fortunately, through the eyes of his beautiful golden mask, Tutankhamun, could have fun again traveling around the world

Mr Mummific

An ancient friend of mine, Mr Mummific dictated a book about how he became a mummy - and I was his scribe and artist. The book is available at Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk

On my other website www.ancientagypt101.com he continues his stories about life in ancient Egypt.

Another hilarious adventure for children with Mr Mummific, the mummy with attitude. He now tells the story of his mishaps, misunderstandings and misadventures as he leaves his tomb through the False Door to embark on the complicated and dangerous journey to the Afterlife aboard the magnificent Ship of Millions.

Find the book at Amazon.com  and Amazon.co.uk

The Nephilim Quest Series

The first book in an epic fantasy series based on human mythology. The search for the mythical Watchers, the angels who fathered the Nephilim, the half-angels. A story that moves on three levels - our times, ancient Greece and ancient Egypt.
